Brooks King question

greg woodie Jan 05, 2005 09:06 PM

i have a sub-adult Brooks King that lately has been soaking in his water dish just about every day. he isn't getting ready to shed and doesn't appear to have mites. are some Brooks just a little more 'aquatic' than other Kings? thanks for any input!

Maybe it's a little too hot in his enclosure.

That's very normal in kings, I have a six year old cali king that soaks in his water bowl right before and during his shed cycle. a few of my juvenile Hondurans do it as well. don't worry about it.
