I was just wondering why day geckos like bamboo, I was reading some old posts and someone some they like bamboo. Is it just like a cool stick to hang out on? Just wondering. Thanks Everyone!!

That's exactly it...a cool stick to hang out on, with the added feature of a hollow interior that they can dart into if necessary. PVC tubes work just as well, although I have a theory that the geckos might enjoy clinging to the bamboo's natural surface better than to PVC (no data to back this up, just a gut feeling, or maybe wishful thinking). Also, PVC looks like crap.

They just love smooth surfaces to sit on. Branches without bark work about as well as bamboo. Banana trees are good plants for larger setups as well.
