my new cage is finally done and im so proud of it so it gotta show it off. by the way i have my own website in the works, with the cage plans, pics, and soon available leopard geckos and eventually veilds.

and i have to show off my cham. he HATES cameras. as soon as ones pointed at him he trys to bite it.

He probably sees a tiny reflection of himself in the lense. Nice looking cages!

yeah those are nice cages, did you finish the wood, or leave it plain?? Thats the only problem I see with them, eventually if unfinished the days of spraying will rot the wood. I use a high gloss latex paint on mine, iot'll buy you a few years. Also jusdt in case you didn't be sure to use a silicone caulk on the floors that way they hold overspray and don't leak on your floors...

i used 3 coats of water based sealant which should keep out most of the water. i didnt use any caulking, will it make a big difference without it?

Thats good that'll make it last a lot longer, as for the caulking it depends on how much water will sit in the bottom. I spray them automatically so a bit of water sits on floor, and could have leaked on to carpet below. If it was me the first time you do a total cleaning of the cage I would buy some latex clear caulk, after cleaning I'd do a quick bead aroound the base, let dry for like 3 hours then put chams back in. After 24 hours can get wet, I use a silicone base caulk, but stinks for a while, and shouldn't have chams for a couple of days, so the latex is a good choice for you.

there is linolium (sp?) on the floor which should be pretty water resistant but theres a seam in the middle. some caulking would probally be a good idea for that and ill do the edges while im at it.

Thats really sharp looking, I like the divider in it as well! I would be interested in cage plans should you decide to post them as well. Nice cage!
