Hi,
I took my 5 foot het albino female to the vet today for a lump on her side down by the vent. She was in shed, and when I check on her after shedding, there was this large lump, a little bigger than a pea. Well the vet opened it up and it was a disgusting infection/abcess(sp). He said it must have come from something on the outside, like a bite or something. But the problem is she is housed alone in a freedom breeder cage with a fake rock hide, a water bowl, and on newspaper treated with proventamite. I can't for the life of me figure out what could have caused this. I'm just looking for people with similar experiences or any ideas on how this could have happened.
