i am intrested in buying 2 vision cages, model # 222 and # 332. i am new to these cages and was wondering if they are as good as ive heard. i would love to hear any comments you have on these cages, Good or Bad. thanks for any help that you can give.

Durability is excellent - they'll last a lifetime. The plastic material used is easy to clean - urates do not stick to it very well.

Heating is another thing. The material doesn't insulate as well as PVC material. If your room background temp is warm, then heating is easy. If the room temp is cool, then you'll have to do some inventive heating.

Some models have a heat shroud - I think the 2ftx2ftx2ft model (the 222) does as does the 3ftx28"x1ft model (can't remember if this is the 322 or 332). The heat shroud is a good thing, but the rest of the cage may still be cool in a cold room. You may need to add some Flexwatt below or else fix a heat panel to the ceiling depending on the species you are trying to keep and the temp of the room.

Totally agree with what Mark said so vell.

I have several Vision cages and they have served me well. They are very strong and durable but do not hold heat or humidity as well as some of my other commercial cages. I probably will not buy Vision again unless I get them used at a good price. The one feature that Vision does have that is a requirement for me is sliding glass doors. Check out this site: www.cheapcages.com Jungle Hapitats has a new line of cages that are really super and hold heat/hunmidity very well. You can get sliding acrylic/glass doors as an option along with heat and lighting. With free shipping their cages are a great value.
