What kind of Python?

Can anyone positively ID this python? It looks to be a Ceylonese or Indian of some sort.....

According to Mehrtens, pimbura is quite similar to bivittatus in color & pattern. Judging from that alone, I would say that is a P. m. molurus.

Actually, pimbura is almost certainly invalid, and a synonym of P.m. molurus. Some hobbyists like to use pimbura to get around restrictions on P.m. molurus, as the latter is listed as CITES Appendix 1.

The snake in the pic is thus P. m. molurus.
