Hey
Is it okay if I put one or two feeder guppies with my two chinese fire belly newts? will the fish hurt them at all? and is there any other species of fish I could put in with them?
Thanks

Hi, I wouldn't suggest it, but thats just my opinion. The newts and fish might over food, and there MIGHT be some aggression between the two. Here is a really good site.

I know some people that have gotten away with it, but I would highly not suggest it, good luck!

If your newts are bigger then the fish, it should be fine, i wouldnet recomend anything aggrerssive and it needs to tolerate colder water that newts live in. Ive had newts with guppies for years now, works great, plus guppies come in a broad range of colors too, so its cool looking. Anyways, best of luck
