Quick question on incubation of Timor Eggs and humidity.

reddragon01 Jan 06, 2005 07:24 PM

Greetings! I have switched to perlite for the eggs my Timor laid a few days ago, have a question concerning humidity. I have a mix of 1:1 perlite to water by weight, but the humidity in the container is holding at about 75%. Is that high enough? This is only my second attempt at incubating eggs, and my first with perlite. Thanks for any advice given! John.

do the eggs look ok? are they drying up? if not then it must be ok. Watch the eggs and adjust to them not to the digits.

Most of my eggs get setup at 70-80% humidity, so i would say your in the ballpark.
