has anyine used these bulbs and what is your opinoins on them. i am considering using one on a vield cham cage.

What I think about them can be found at my Mercury Vapor Heat & UV Lamps article.
However, some people on the Iguanas Mailing List have been using them and monitoring the output using UV meters...and finding that after a very short period of time of use, these lamps aren't providing much more than the far less expensive and effective UVB fluorescents...

thanks melissa i have already read your thoughts on your site exstinsivly. what mailing list are you refering to and what types of reading are they getting using what brand meters ?
