Last night i turned the heater on in the room i keep my female cham and i forgot about it for little bit and when i went back in there it was around 100 degrees and thats way hotter than my chams really like they like it around 80-85 and my cham who i just mated with my male three days ago was digging at the bottom of her tree. Was that because she was too hot??? Why would she be digging?? The last time she layed eggs they were infertile could she be trying to lay the sperm she could have retained??? Thanks a lot Ryan

It is not uncommon for a female to lay a second or third clutch in such a short period of time. The shortest period of time I've observed was 13 days in between. During those 13 days she resumed eating as normal. In fact, the day she laid her second clutch of 20 eggs, she ate her breakfast first, then proceeded to dig and lay her eggs.

Again, just incubate the eggs as if they were good. Allow them to spoil before discarding them. I hope you have better luck with this clutch.

Later.

Vincent
