Emerald Tree Boa's mouth slightly open on one side of mouth??

My ETB has his mouth slightly opened on his left side of his mouth. I'm not sure why, or the reason that it is like that. I hope he doesn't have an infection and if he does should I take him to the vet if it doesn't get better? Or should I just take him in to see a vet ASAP, so they can find out what is wrong w/ him? PLEASE LET ME KNOW. He looks healthy, sheds, drinks water, so I'm not sure what it could be. If anyone has an opinion please let me know. Thank you so much.
