Water temps for common snapper

I had my common snappers little pond in the same room as my chameleon so the water stayed fairly warm just because the temp in that room and now i am moving it and im going to need to get him a heater. What temperature should i put the heater on?? Thanks in advance! Ryan

My baby commons react horribly to water above 80 degrees, so most of the time they are just at average room water temps. in the winter, around 50, maybe up to 60.
