I bought a 40 gallon set-up and a pretty good sized ball python a while ago. Is there a good snake I could get to live with my ball or should I just get another ball?
Thanks

Balls are solitary animals, and they don't really want, need or like companions. I currently have two babies that live together in a huge cage fine, but I intend on getting them separate living quarters before they are able to breed (I have a male and female). If your ball is already good size then you should get a separate cage for your new addition. In which case any type of snake would be fine, make sure you go through proper quarantine procedures when you get your new snake so you don't end up harming the one you've already got.
