"brattler"

SerpentSyco Jan 07, 2005 04:17 PM

Ok I picked up on this a few a few days ago when someone claimed that bull snakes and rattle snakes sometimes in breed and you get a snake that has fangs but no venom so instead it inflates you. I think that it is total bull crap. oldherper was that just a joke? If it was I must not have thought so. And if anyone believes that there is a snake like this, could you possibly photograph it and post it here on kingsnake.

He was totally pulling your leg- it's funny though once you read the thread. Don't take it the wrong way. He's spoofing some of the common myths about venomous snakes and non-venomous snakes interbreeding. Think of it along the line of the infamous "Jackalope". The hybrid forum is really the place to go if you have questions about interbreeding different snake species.
