Sounds like it's stress from shipping. They can go off feed when they are stressed. You can put a SMALL dish of water for it.It could be dehydrated a little. The main thing is give it time to get adjusted to it's new surroundings.Ours didnt eat for a couple of days either. How did it first act when you got it.I would call or email Doug just to be shure though. He is very good about answering any questions.

Don't panic. You have only had him a couple of days, he's still adjusting. My Mali didn't eat for nearly the first week. What are your temps? They could be a little on the cool side for him. Also, did you soak him upon receipt? This will help re-hydrate him after his traumatic trip. Not familiar with this - post and I will explain.

my temps are 97 on the warm side, 94 in the middle, and 86 cool side. i have a 4' by 2' cage. i soaked him for 15 minutes in warm water upon arrival as well. his basking is 125 and he likes this other warm spot that gets to be about 110. i also have uv. im getting a Active UV heat flood bulb tomorrow however, so hes ensured proper uv. so temp, and cage setup wise, i think hes ok. hes just not eating, and hes always sleeping. he hasnt pooped yet either. i just want him to be ok.

Your temps sound okay. You say you put him in warm water. Uros love it hot! Next soak, don't be afraid to make the water hot, what is warm to you is going to seem cold to him. Remember the 125 basking area! Also, keep in mind these guys hate change! He's been through a lot the last few days. The first thing I successfully got my uro to eat was peas. That didn't happen until about 4 days in. On the fifth day, I received the peas back -recycled uro style. Since then, he's an eating machine. Also, you may not see yours eat, they are shy initially. As far as all the sleeping, mine did too. It was over a week before I got to see his first uro dance. The first time I presented the peas, I had warmed mixed frozen veggies in the microwave for about 30 seconds in some water. I drained off the water and put them in his food dish in his cage. I then gently picked him up and put him on the edge of the dish - I don't advocate handling before 2 weeks but knew this cage was totally different from his old home. He stole a pea and darted into his hide but from that point forward he ate. Hope this helps!
