Ill? Age?

Hello,

I'm wondering if there's anything wrong with my gecko. Lately his fat reserves behind his front arms seem to stay bigger for longer(Only recently did these start appearing), and it appears as though the skin underneath him is a bit wrinkled. Doesn't seem anorexic or anything to me, and I guess he wouldn't be if his fat glands are full.. he continues to eat his crickets and poop as usual.

He doesn't show a lot of difference in behavior. I don't take him out much so I don't notice a difference in handling.. he may be a little bit more sluggish and sits in unusual spots from time to time lately.. but he's always seemed a little lazy. He perks right up for food though..

Could these things be related to any illness or just old age or something? Thanks.

Since leos can live over fifteen years, it's probably not old age. If he is eating and pooping like normal I wouldn't worry about it. Just keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn't stop eating. Where I live the temps in the tanks drop a few degrees this time of year even when I increase the size of heat bulbs and stuff, so my leos' metabolisms slow down and they tend to eat less and be less active. Maybe your leo's behavior is just temp related.
