As most of you know I have a PTS as well as Zoe. I just wanted to show you my beautiful girl, as many of you may not go to the skink forum.
This is her eating her dinner yesterday (assorted greens mixed with peas...she's gotta have her peas, beans or sweet potatoes mixed in, or else she won't eat her greens, and then some papaya with a little bee pollen for dessert!) As you can see, she really throws herself into the task of eating....literally. By the time she's done, her food is EVERYWHERE...on her, on the floor of her home, the walls...everywhere. She is very enthusiastic when she eats.
I think she's getting fat ....This girl has some HIPS!
How can you not love her though!
She should be moving into her new home soon. My dad just brought the doors to my place yesterday. He's not as involved with this cage as he was with Zoe's...so it won't be any where near as nice. I'm working away on it, slowly but surely.
It's big, and HEAVY (4ft wide, 4ft high, 1.5ft deep)...so there I am with my jig saw and everything else, right smack in the middle of my living room....building a cage.
You know you love your herps when human furniture comes second to your lizards cages!

Kim, just curious, how did you come up with her name? Also, how come "Zoe" is a boy. Dont misunderstand! I had a male rabbit named Suzy and a female cat named Rochester (from Jack Benny show - for those oldies who remember the show LOL!). Just wondering

Dill is named Dill because she looks like a giant dill pickle.
Her colouring, her shape, everything.

Zoe is named Zoe because his previous owner thought he was a she.
When I got him, I realized he was a BOY...but just kept the name.

Makes him sound like he's a super hero or something

my (nameless) baby.. how can i say this, shes dead .. she died last night, i dont know why as she was perfectly healthy that same morning .
Joeys great, but still has that dodgy eye. Hes also starting to appreciate my company .
Tangos getting more and more boring in his old age, lol.. hes great though, just going to shed
