HELP WITH MY TANK PROBLEM PLEASE!!!

ATLherp2131 Jan 07, 2005 09:19 PM

I have four female dragons in two 40 gallon tanks. Two female dragons to a tank. I am selling all four but two are going before the other two. I have sold one of the dragons out of each tanks. They will be the ones to go first. There will be one female left in each tank. Will the females left in the tank be petrafied? I have herd of dragons not eating and stressing when their tank partner is taken away. Is this somthing I need to be worried about? If so what do I do?

thanks for your help, i really appretiate it.

I don;t think you'll have any problems... beardies are solitary animals in the wild and will do just fine. If they do go off food or seem to be experiencing seperation anxiety...(lol) try introducing the other two to each other.... be carefull though as they could get into some bad territory wars and hurt or maim each other....

It would seem to me that if you are selling the other two anyway, why put them through the stress of trying to put them together if they will probably be separated again once sold.
