odd news, but still interesting, and I guess OK news

Hi there:

About 5-6 days after the SK shed, I peeked in to check on it, and guess what? It's eyes were blue, and it was grey again! I have never once had a snake that had such short intervals between sheds. So I left it undisturbed for a week or two. Today I checked on it, to find a near perfect shed, and a stunning, really shiny scarlet, wriggling around like a little candy cane.
It's eyes are clear, and overall, it looks great. I will put a pinky in tonight.

I'd be concerned if a snake sheds that quickly in succession. That's usually a sign of parasites that it's trying to get rid of (like mites). You might want to make sure the snake is mite free, though occasionally if they are recovering from some type of surface trama, they'll shed rapidly as well. Good luck with the little critter.
