Hellow I'm from Israel and I heard about using coral sand (I dont know how it's called in English but it's the send used for sallt-water aquarium made from corals) for BD's. Did anyone hear about it? Does it's better then regular sand?

Hello! Israel? That's cool! What part of Israel? About the coral sand... It seems that coral would create sharp particles that could cause your beardie harm if swallowed. I would stick to washed, sifted playsand if you want to use sand.

What's so cool about israel? I live abuot half hour from Tel Aviv if you know that city...
I heard that coral sand is better then regular sand but I also heard that it's much more dangerous...
I'm really confused...

I just find it cool that so many different people from so many differanty countries come here to post... Canada, netherlands, sweden, UK, Israel..... t would not be fun to undure what you must go through on a daily basis.... just to clear that up....

I've never heard of using coral sand but if I were you I'd stick with a known and recomended substraste that many breeders use with no problems. Washed, sifted childrens playsand..... Or shelf liner is a great substrate to.... Those are the only two I would recomend.....
