Will superworms bite my beardie?

caredeocr Jan 08, 2005 05:16 PM

There is a superworm loose somewhere in my beardie's tank. I can't find him and I know Homer hasnt eaten him. Will a super bite my beardie like crickets will? They are nasty looking things.

Also, what's the best way to feed supers to my beardie? Seems like they crawl out of anything.

Thanks
Chris

He'll be fine I hold them with my bare hands to feed and I've never been bitten.Besides I doubt one will sneak up on him without him getting it first.Even if hes sleeping it won't bite him so don't fret....

I feed my supers in a small dog bowl. It's just a plain glazed ceramic dish that's a good 5 - 6 inches tall. I've yet to have a worm get out of the bowl, but then again, my BD eats them as soon as I put them in there.

He did leave some overnight once, and they were still there the next morning until he woke up.
