Cypress mulch & mold....

kevinBD1 Jan 08, 2005 05:27 PM

The top thin layer of cypress mulch in my sav's cage is dried out, but one you dig down about an inch it is moist, is that moisture going to cause any mold or any kind of fungus to grow or anything??

it might it might not. I have had plants grown in my tegus cage, from left over food such as squash, pumpkin etc.

Try not to worry until you see a problem.
