It does not need to be diluted with anything. What dosage are you trying to give, 25mg per kg maybe? How much does your snake weigh?

(1)Weigh your snake in grams

(2)Divide the weight of your snake by 1000

(3) Times that by whatever dosage you are trying to give

(4) Divide that by 25, and that will be the amount in cc's that you should be giving the paste (undiluted).

I dont have a dosage yet the whole tube is a for 1200 lb horse so im sure it must be diluted somewhat

I was asking what dosage you are giving it, like, are you giving it 25mg/kg or 40mg/kg?

You will only be using a very small amount of the paste.

The dosage is 10mg/lb or 25mg/kg. Also Panacur has a margin of safety up to 5,000 times normal dose in mammals and an overdose in reptiles have never been reported. I have used it many times without taking an accurate measurement with no ill effect. Hope this helps.

If the snakes are feeding, that is a plus. Wait until the snake has almost fully consumed the prey item and put a dab on the animal under the tail. Done! If the snakes are so infested with nematodes, it will actually give the animal the false sense of being full. I have used a catheter with a long tube and have diluted the paste so it will pass easily through the tube. This should be done by someone experiences as yo have to insert it into the esophogus, not the trachea! This would send fluids into the lungs and cause serious problems if not death. Try different prey items to get the dose in. I hate to say it on this forum but use a Gerbil as a last resort!Examine the stool when the animal defecates for worms. I have used this method with WC Boelen's pythons that were infested with nematodes and it cleaned them right up. I repeated this every 6 months as a precautionary measure. If you are feeding live prey it becomes necessary.Good Luck! Bill
