Handleling Baby Corns

ShadowDruid Jan 08, 2005 09:18 PM

okay I have my new baby all set up. Just one more quick question. How should I go about handling my new baby ? He is pretty shy right now.... but i'm assuming all babies are at first so any input would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Pick him up gently towards the middle. Let him move through your hands, offering enough support so he does not fall. TRY to let him settle in for a week or two (and a feeding or two) before botherin him too much. And be sure to give him at least 2 or 3 days after each meal with no handling to avoid puking.
Enjoy. Duffy

In my past experience, I have found (and I don't know how 'proper' this is, but it seems to work) that if your little guy would happen to try to strike you, let him. He is too small now to do any damage at all, so let him try to bite you till his heart is content. This will get him used to the idea that you are the dominant one, and he will get over it. Just an added thought. Have fun!
