I keep my males in smaller 22.5" x 16" x 5.75" Rubbermaids year round since they are generally smaller than my females. The females are kept in 35" x 17" x 6" Sterilites, then during breeding season I move the males in with the females. I personally don't group females together during breeding but there should be enough room in the Sterilite containers for 2 females and a male.
