corns tend to be mostly nocturnal.
you have the right word, just a couple of letters moved. I think the spelling is diurnal.
Maybe if we are lucky someone will correct us both....lol

I believe most corns are nocturnal. At least mine are most of the time. Their eye shape and rounded pupils would say otherwise but mine seem to be most active at night. I'm sure this is the way it is in the wild, mice and other prey would be more avilable at night.

If you want to find them in the wild in Florida, the best time to look is at dusk and during the first hour or so of darkness, weather permitting, of course. They MIGHT be out at dawn too, but I am not, so can't say about that, lol!

That is why I suggest feeding reluctant babies around dusk, since that is a natural time to prowl for them.
