More quarantine Questions

I was curious what others thought of using Med or Large "pen pal" style cages for QT for my incoming satanics. I could cover most of the lid w/plastic wrap to keep humidity up. This would allow me to treat them all as separate cases and prevent cross-contamination without requiring a lot of space or expenditure.
Thanks in advance for your input

Hey, set one or two up and check out what humidity you get, if you achieve the desired range then I see no problem with it. If it works, why not? Everyone has their own way of doing things, especially with Uroplatus, there are no recipe books for this genus yet.

Do you mean the plastic critter keepers? Those work well , and as long as you have live plants and moist substrate, you wont need to cover the top. I would really be concerned about air stagnation and mold problem covering the top in plastic, unless you were using an all screen cage. Fungal problems are more serious than low humidity - and much harder to control.

Thanks for the input. I was referring to critter keepers. As someone suggested, I'm going to set one up tonight and try to check humidity. THe only problem right now is that my humidity guage appears to be nonfunctional. Any recommendations fo ra brand that is inexpensive, available and reliable?
Thanks,
Rich
