What species is this?

Hi all!
This is my newest addition to my uromastyx collection. Is it a (banded phase)uromastyx dispar maliensis or is it uromastyx flavofaciata? Any opinions?

It does look like a flavofaciata, doesn't it? I have no idea, nor expertise, but I thought the bandeds were almost impossible to get here - are you in the states or somewhere else?

He's good looking, whichever he is!

I'd have to take an educated guess and say it's a uromastyx flavofaciata. I don't recall having seen such a distinctive banded pattern on a standard mali before. My female is a banded-to-herringbone patterned mali, according to Doug Dix.
Try emailing him that pic and in the subject line type "Can you please help me identify this uromastyx species?"
He was very helpful in identifying the patterns of both of mine.

Good luck
