how long should i leave the UVB light on for my 3 horned Jackson???

ooo i am so excited i just got a three horned Jackson! but i am just learning how to care for it, i got him all set up with a dripper and a light, but i dont know how long to leave the light on... also any little helpful hints would be very well appreciated! thanks everyone!

I have my jackson under 10 hours of uv lights and he is doing fine. matt

The rule of thumb for a fluorescent UVB light such as the ReptiSun 5.0 is 12 hours a day. The cham needs to get within 18 inches of the light to get the benefit, so put the light in a place where your cham spends some time, such as near its basking perch. I would not suggest using the high intensity incandescent UV lights for a jax...they like it cooler and much more humid.
