hey jamie! I thought about it after I posted that it was very "ameri-centric" for a WW forum! there used to be a joke about the 4th of july and UK. Can't recall...not a joke ABOUT the brits it was reminding US that we are not the only ones in the world - even tho' we sometimes act that way 
I used to work at a hotel in Boston, in a private business lounge, and had LOTS of brits visit - I've got a thing for the accent
One of them helped me map out my trip when I went in '86. Anyway...happy Friday to you

oo snap, i lvoe the american accent, aussie even better . anyway 99% is from US and Canada any way, do canadians celebrate the 4th??

No we don't celebrate the 4th, we celebrate the 1st, Canada Day. We don't go all out like the Americans, but it's a good time none-the-less. Aussie accent is the best. American is sort of cool because they have an accent for pretty much every state, some are REALLY annoying, no offense, but that is still pretty cool.
