Question about Pancur?

Can Pancur be used on an empty stomach? The Chondro I want to treat has not eaten since October. Sine I bought him I found out he is an import. I suspected as much when he arrived with an RI but it has since been confirmed so now I want to treat with Panacur but I'm wondering about the empty stomach.
