Feeding dilemma with my Albino Nelsoni Female

ZFelicien Jan 09, 2005 10:41 PM

I have an `03 female Nelsoni,I got her a few months ago and she's only had 3 meals since I had her. the first meal was live fuzzy the 2nd was f/t fuzzy and the last was a brained f/t fuzzy. She's a very nice size for an `03 and she's very healthy, she drinks water regularly but she won't eat as often as she should... any suggestions?

This is the time of year when many colubrids stop feeding or else slow way down. That snake in the picture sure looks robust and healthy at a glance. I wouldn't sweat it. I bet in Spring she gets an appetite.

It would seem to me that snake couldn't look that good if it had a major problem. Time of year. That is all it may be. Don't force it.

I thought it could be that, but didn't cool her down this season
because i wanted to pump her up over the winter period. my male is twice her size so i really hope she gets better in the spring...
i think i may just cool her down for the rest of the season just to me safe.
Thanx for the info.
