Obviously she has dark pigment, but her sheds come out totally clear like ghost ball pythons. According to Kevin at NERD, the orange, butterscotch, yellow, and even green, I believe, ghosts are just the same trait with color bred into them. Something along those lines. So, if she has genetics similar to a ghost ball as well, possibly I can do something along the same lines as what has been done with Ghost Ball pythons. When she was born she stuck out, I'll put a pic up here, she's the orangish one. In my opinion, most ghost balls don't do much for me, but combined with pastels and other morphs, they make amazing animals. Possibly something like that can happen here. If nothing else, she'll be able to produce albinos during breeding trials. Hopefully it will turn out to be a fun and worthwhile project. I think the "boawoman" hypos are something similar, and I believe they also shed clear, but I'm not certain. Since the only other boas I have that shed clear are albinos, who knows!
in 03 I had a real small litter of just 3 hogs one was so pale that I thought she was a still at first she has no belly pattern the dark pigments around her tail look like the dark areas on ghost ball rather then the normal color of hogs. she is missing some the the face pattern also I think she is some type of true hypo hog but it will be a will before i can prove her out. I try to get a good pic in the next couple of days. thak care those are awsome boas you got
I'd definitely like to see some pics. My female doesn't have the clear belly at all though. It is HEAVILY speckled with blotches of pink throughout. I'll try to take pics, but I don't know if the colors will show up, but I'll give it a try. I would think something is going on for them to shed clear, but I guess we get to have the fun trying to find out! When this female goes into shed, she looks like she has a layer of clear coat drying on her...extremely cloudy and thick looking. If they breed and nothing comes of it, atleast we still have babies to play with-LOL! Good luck to you. Take care

I remember a similar in appearance one if not that one.. I hope it proves genetic.. would be very cool

I've posted pics here and there. Nobody ever says much though. She's sort of like T positives as far as much more noticeably different in person. If anyone saw the T Col. in Tinley that Wil Slough had on display, she really doesn't look much different than that animal in person at all. Thanks for the comments Randy, appreciate it. Good luck to you this season. Take care
