Stained wood on custom cages...????

Is having stained wood on inside and outside of a cage ok for a beardie and/or any other lizard's health? check out

stained wood is fine, as long as the stain has had plenty of time to dry. I would use a water proofing stain so spills don't soak into the wood and cause it to rot and hold bacteria.
