I currently keep 1.1 Phelsuma m. grnadis in a cage together and they are breeding this year. Last night I notice the female had a small chunk of the tip of her tail missing. She was staying on the bottom of the cage near the substrate and sometimes laying on the substrate (something she usually does not do). This morning I looked at her and she has black splotches (It looks like it is necrotic) all over her body and she does not look so good. Is this some sort of skin infection? I never see the male being aggressive with here so I don't think he could be causing the problem. Anyone have any suggestions? I am really concerned now because she is also gravid and due to lay here soon. Thanks
