New pics, I took this pic quickly ..

Then removed Zeus right away from Sobeks reach before she saw him coming, she doesnt like him for whatever reason. Strange she likes a good friends argus, but no Albig shes met yet. I took this pic after feeding both, Sobek had a large rat, and Zeus had 9 small adult mice and 4 chicken peeps,he just makes them disappear, hes 5lbs 8 ounces and about 3 and a half feet long.

Shadow and Zeus dont mind each other at all, they seem to get along, but I wouldnt keep them in the same cage.

Shadow and Zeus again, half banded WT and 100% banded WT together in a container for a pic. Shadows much heavier at over 10lbs, and over 6 inches longer.

Finally a pic I had to get, this kitten is growing like wildfire, he just loves lizards as long as their heads are faced the other way, he was bit by a beardie for messing with it, so hes learned respect for them.

My BT would do what ever he could to shove that cat down his gullet.....

A freind brought over one of those tiny barky dogs the other night and juno just about ran threw the glass trying to get at him.....

From incubation, he sufferes from a problem of not recognizing food or reacting strangely to it, he has always had this problem and is sometimes really dangerous to feed as you have to get the food into his mouth to get him to eat, once its there he eats it just fine. Next he was hatched without any thumbs on the front feet, his backbone has a serious fold in it causing his ribs (3) to rise upwards and him to walk very strangly, his hips and shoulders twisted to go straight. I found the gland from his one missing thumb, under his arm pit, he always had what seemed like an abcess that grew to a certain size all of the time in his arm pit, I trimmed at it and discovered its a missing thumbnail growing in the wrong place. Poor Shadow. Im glad I was able to get him, hes unique and a sweetheart to.

I have found that monitors tend to get along better with other species of monitor than their own species. Why? Beats me. Just something I've noticed over the years.

Beuatiful creatures you got there. Your monitor is lucky he found someone willing to provide him with such a good home, despite his disabilities~
