BREEDING METHODS?

gavinclews Jan 10, 2005 12:57 PM

Hi. I was wondering if anyone has any breeding methods to share as last year was a little unsuccesfull. I know about brumating and all that butsome people say that brumation isnt really needed. Was wondering what all you people did or if you just left the male and female together to do the business if you know what i mean. Any help would be greatfully accepted as i am hoping for a good year this year as i have increased my stock for the coming year. thanx

I'm not an expert breeder, but take the female and put her in the cage with the male. I did yesterday for fun and he went wild and tried to breed with her immediately. She wasn't ready so I seperated, but I'm sure they will breed really soon.
