A lot of egg-laying animals like birds and reptiles and amphibians can and do lay eggs regardless of a male presence. If your female tegu is laying eggs and there has been no male contact, they are very likely infertile. I dont know what others would do, but I would just "throw them away" however way you want to.

i dont have a tegu yet. i will get one in 4 days, a baby.
but i havnt decided if i should get a fimale or a male. because the fimale grow less.

at what age they start laying eggs? and do they make a hole?
and what do they do so i can know when she is ready to lay?

they dont usually lay until after they are 2. males do get larger so if size is an issue get a boy. I have never seen a personality difference between sexes.

You need to have mulch in the cage anyway so you need not worry if she digs or not. Infertile eggs are usually left on the ground. The day after she lays you will see that she looks very skinney. Just go dig up the eggs and toss them unless you want a tegu omlette... yumm
