Anyone want to rescue a caiman

Tugi Jan 10, 2005 06:33 PM

I work at a petstore where we have a 34 year old dwarf caiman. The store owner wants her gone because she takes up too much room. She told us that she found a place where they do public alligator feedings and she'llhave her own pond. I don't think this is the case because she wont tell us where it is and wants us to lie to people and say she died. She is planning on telling fish and game the same thing. Since this is in CA she is technically property of fish and game so one would need their OK to move the caiman

I'm worried about her and would like to see her go to a good home. She's got a deformed mouth and has to be hand fed. She's about 4.5 feet long.
