Nokturnel Tom Jan 10, 2005 08:03 PM

I have been dying to see one for years now. I finally met them at Daytona in 04 and was let down they did not have any with them. It is basically supposed to resemble a purple Snow? I know it is not super high dollar but not exactly cheap either so I never took the plunge and bought any.....especially since I can't get a pic of one?!?!! LOL little help???? Tom Stevens

I had such a good time{if ya know what I mean!?] at Daytona I can't remember LOL. All I recall is Lori told me it was basically a very pretty light lavender Snow type snake. I believe it was indeed patternless. I told them a few hundred dollars a snake was too much to simply purchase sight unseen and I am assuming it is not something easily mass produced because she said they didn't last long and were out of them. Yet I have NEVER known anyone who has one or saw one. I find that look described very interesting and think it may be something worth looking into. Tried to reach them on the phone last week. The sites been down for like a year. They're great people, never heard a bad thing about them and their rep is golden so I guess I will wait n see. If I find anything out or get a pic I will email you. Tom ps post more crazy high white albinos!

Tom, sounds like an a Lavender x Melanistic (Mendota, Davis, Baja, etc..) that produced double hets, then bred back. Just like breeding an Albino x Melanistic (Mendota, Davis, Baja, etc..), double hets bred back produces Blizzards. So using a Lavender instead of an albino might produce a purple, patternless cal king instead of a white patternless cal king?

Guess what I am now breeding together this year?? A Lavender to a Mendota! LOL

Ya know the snake has been on their price list for a few years. A buddy who knows them well wrote me and said he'd ask them about it again for me. I will let you know...but your idea is certainly worth a shot. I think a Lavender Patternless King would be excellent looking Tom Stevens
