Dhaka: A crocodile of the historic pond of Hazarat Khanjahan Ali's (RA) mazar needs better treatment. The female crocodile, Dhala Pahar sustained serious injuries in a clash with a male crocodile of the pond, Kala Pahar.
Mazar caretaker Kamal Hossain Fakir has demanded the government give her better treatment.Now she is undergoing treatment at Bagerhat Sadar upazila hospital with injuries in neck, back, abdomen and tail. She was admitted to the Upazila Health Complex in a critical condition on Tuesday, according to Sadar Upazila Livestock Officer Dr Shukhendu Shekhar Gain.
According to Kamal Fakir, at present there are two male and one female crocodiles in the historic pond. Their species are on verge of extinction, he added.

Wow, she's in critical condition and the authorities should do something about it? I'd advise that female croc to press the zoological police to bring charges against that big male for assualt.
