Heat Cable

I am thinking of trying ZooMeds new Heat Cable in a rack system. Has anyone ever tried it? Sean

I have a heat cable but don't use it in a rack system. The only problems that I have had with them is that it is a pain in the butt to wire it up and down for my two enclosures. Plus, I have extra that I do not use that just sits. You cannot really cut it as easily as Heat tape to the size trhat you need. I would just use Heat tape. I am thinking of trying to use it in a homemade incubator just to save some money. Its possible to use for a rack system but don't think it is as efficient or cost effective.
