Hey.
I've been reading the messages on this forum for a few days and have to say I think it's really cool. I don't keep any crocodilians, just monkey tailed skinks and frilled dragons. I read that Ultimate guide to crocodilian care on crocodilian.com last evening which brings me to a "strictly out of curiosity" question. They mentioned that west african dwarf crocodiles are sometimes kept by private collectors. Most of what I see on here has to do with caimens of some type. Does anyone know where they're available or how much they go for?(the west africans, not caimen) I only ask because I've seen them in lots of zoos and it always amazes me when zoo type animals are available to people like me. I live in a condo so I have no room or interest in owning one myself. If anyone here has owned one, let me know what it was like behavior wise.
Thanks
Oh yeah, it seems that I've seen them in a lot of multi species exhibits like at the bronx zoo's nocturnal house in nyc. Does this speak to their being a more docile species?
