New Mangrove

roachfreak101 Jan 11, 2005 06:19 AM

I just purchased this mangrove, and unusual black and white form of dendrophila i'm thinking subspecies like divergens or multicincta, only because they are the only ones i can find that could have white bands instead of yellow.
Any idea's on what this is?
Also i am sure this is an import, can anybody give me tips on what i should try to feed it first.
The people i bought it from said it eats live mice, but it does'nt seem the least bit interested.
No problem with his attitude.
Thanks KEN

P.S. How do i post a pic on here, not sure what my pictures URL is, would it have to be on the web to post it?

The black and yellow and the black and white are the same animal. Both can be found in Bali. Its simply just a colour variant.

Cheers

If you upload the pic into the ks photo section you can choose from your pic where is says select image from photo gallery under the post, right above where you click to post the message
How long have you had the snake?
I just recently got a mang myself. It just ate a rat pink for me a couple days ago..i was really happy about that.
I have noticed that mine pretty much will not come out if people are around...so what i did was fed it at night and covered the cage with a towel and that seemed to work..no more rat pinkie.
I look forward to seeing a pic of yours

Jason
