A quick heads up.

I don't keep venomous reptiles (plenty of non-hots though) or live in North Dakota so this doesn't really have an impact on me, but it might on some of you.

Yesterday the North Dakota state House of Representatives introduced the following bill.

Hopefully this URL works:
http://www.state.nd.us/lr/assembly/59-2005/bill-text/FAGH0400.pdf

If not, it's House Bill 1326 I'm sure you can find it on the internet if you bother to look.

I don't know. If you live in ND you might want to think about writing to your state House reps.

Good luck.

Sorry. I'm too busy at work researching legislation to actually read the forum.

state & local laws will figure out it is better to issue a permit system, then to have 100's of people keeping stuff without them knowing.

Banning hots will not stop keepers from keeping them, this is what we do, we see nothing wrong with it. Permit systems would help authorities to know who has what & where/how it's being kept, but why even try fighting it, if they want to ban keeping hots they will (nomatter what we say or do).

UNDERGROUND!!! See ya'll there!!!
