is this something all hoggies do when they grab thier prey? Just curious because its really kinda cute when he does it.Maybe he thinks hes an alligator.

I suppose that no one else has heard of this behavior either. I personally would be concerned about a neurological disorder.

He only does it when he grabs his prey. He twists around a few times like a croc and stops and holds on then starts swallowing whatever it is Ive fed him. Well he seems to be healthy otherwise, even if it some wierd quirk. Just thought it might be a Hognose thing..Thanks for replying

I have six 04s and have seen a couple do the "death roll" a few times .
