I have a couple cyclura at pets. Recently I built a nice cage for them and installed a ceramic heat fixture. I figured I'd buy Mercury Vapor Bulbs from Big Apple Herp.
I paid for a couple bulbs. When I received them one was broke. So I reported it to Big Apple Herp. They sent out another one. This time the bulb was completely shattered. I could hear it without opening the box. So they said I needed to ship it back. I paid to ship it back. They issued me a credit number for the borken bulb. I figured I didn't want to deal with bulbs from them anymore. Instead I ordered foil tape, reptile relief, and a ball tip syringe for meds. The total for those items was less than the cost of the broken MVB.
When I looked at the invoice they charged me again for shipping. So I paid shipping for the original bulb, then to paid to ship the broken one back then they charged me for shipping the replacement items. Is this right?
I complained and I got a reply saying the items they shipped me for replacement was based on store credit. Something sounds weird to me. Am I off or what??
