breeding basic questions

What weight would be the minimum you would breed a female at? What the smallest a male can be?
Also should I start feeding her extra calcium before breeding or wait until after?

Female should be about 45 grams.

Male should be same or larger hten the female. This way he can show domanence* and so he can take control when they mate.

Feed her as much calcium as you can. You are correct.

Alot of people have a different opinions on the weight for breeding. I think atleast 50 to 60 grams for females and about a year old. About the same for males also. Yes, calcium would be good for her right now since it would help with egg development. You can also start to fatten her up using pinkies that will help her stay healthy if she loses weight after she lays eggs.

I tend to breed my females when they are in the high 50's (grams), SOme people breed them when they are younger but i go by the rule bigger is always better.
