Just trying out a pic. I'm not that great at pics yet. I have a dimage 5 from minolta and it's a little complex so I still need to work on it a little. Plus I've never uploaded a pic and i wanted to give it a try. Her name is Bomani it's an african name meaning warrior, she (I think) was a ferocious biter in her first couple of weeks that I had her. She got six times one day while I changed her water bowl.

nice picture. on my camera i find it difficult to get good color in low lighting unless i set it to a slow exposure... and then use a tripod to keep the camera still. personally I get the best results with everything on auto. there is also a slow flash setting that does good in low light and doesnt glare out the closer objects, but again, the camera has to be kinda still to get a clear shot in that setting.
