Cool pic. I've seen that before, I think in Applegate's book on Keeping Milk snakes. Is that where you got it from?

Is anyone producing amelanistic eastern milks?

HerperHelmz Jan 11, 2005 09:49 PM

Yeah I got it right out of that book...

A guy in PA is working to re-establish the amel line of eastern milks, and people do come across them fairly often. They'll probably be out for sale around 2010, maybe a little before, but I can't see that happening, as not many people even knew albino easterns existed lol. I posted a pic of my male eastern below in your other thread....

Not a hybrid. Gary Heckenberger from eastern Pa. has had some for quite some time and was working on establishing a breeding colony.

Was meant to be sarcastic towards the hybridizer king...

..Not a hybridizer king.
My collection consists of less than 10% hybrids. Look at some of the top breeders in the country if you want to lable someone "hybridizer king". Its just the small scale breeders who wish to specialize in certain snakes that are so vehementally vocal anti hybridzers. For most of them it is a way for them to use peer pressure to buy their "so called" "PURE" snakes.

Not that I mind that lable, however. Just trying to be fair to the other breeders.

Check out how many of the large scale herpetocuturists who have hybrids at the next Daytona Expo for a better perspective.
